John Wei, the brewmaster of Brewlander, started his homebrewing journey in 2008 making beers in the humble comfort of his HDB flat. He has since won multiple homebrew awards over the years. John has been actively aiding and mentoring other homebrewers to improve their craft, some of which would go on to win awards of their own. In 2016, he decided to take his hobby a step further and enter the world of commercial brewing. John is also a certified BJCP judge, and commits his time to help grow the BJCP network of judges within Asia.

She is a WSET and Bordeaux educator and runs courses in Asia and is a regular member of tasting panels for consumer magazines and judges extensively at wine competitions across 3 continents. Annette has lived in Singapore for over 20 years.

Olivier Chapman was appointed Programme and Development Manager at the Institute of Masters of Wine in 2015 – a new role for the Institute. He is responsible for the delivery of the Study Programme and Master of Wine Examination worldwide. He is also responsible for building the Membership of the Institute by attracting high calibre potential Members and supporting them through the process of becoming Masters of Wine.

An oenologist by training, Edwin Soon has worked in Australia, the US and France. Today as a wine educator, Ed juggles many hats. He trains Singapore Airlines Air Sommeliers, lectures on Sensory Evaluation and Food Pairing at the Dilmah School of Tea and is Editor of the Wine and Dine Magazine. Edwin is also a restaurant reviewer for the Peak and has authored and co-authored several books - Soave and Food; Pairing Wine with Asian Food; New Frontiers in Taste (Gourmand award for ‘Best Wine and Food Book 2009); The Way of Tea; The Wines of France (republished twice and translated into Chinese). Ed was nominated as Vinitaly's International Wine and Spirits Communicator of the Year 2011 and also received the Wine Pioneer Award from Wine for Asia.
