Trade visitors from Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam and many other countries had a fulfilling time at ProWine ASIA 2016. Besides getting to meet new potential suppliers, they also had the chance to taste a wide range of wines and spirits, as well as exchanged notes with fellow wine enthusiasts on the latest drinking trends.
"This is my first visit. Though the show is not as big as compared to the shows that I’ve visited in Europe, I managed to find new suppliers from Australia (in the Margaret River area) which I was not able to find in other shows. I will definitely be bringing a bigger team the next time as we are also into spirits and other beverages."

First-in-Asia Champagne Lounge
The first-ever Champagne Lounge in Asia was highly well-received and attracted many trade buyers with its exclusive and inviting ambience. Visitors were treated to an array of more than 25 different types of champagne – many of which were unique ‘first-in-Asia’ labels, by renowned champagne producers. In addition, oenologists were also present to provide professional advice on selecting and appreciating champagnes.
"TThe Champagne Lounge is an interesting concept. Being in-charge of making recommendations to my purchasing department on the wines to stock for our private club members, the Lounge allowed me to discover and taste the various types of champagne all at one place. The unique champagne liqueur and a few quality Rosé champagnes that I got to sample are some of my picks."
